We meet in Trinity Church, Mansel Road, SW19 4AA, a really smart newly refurbished building with a lovely sprung floor that is ideal for dancing. It is close to both Wimbledon Station and Tramlink stops.

How to get there...

By tube/train/tram:

Train:  South West Train services from Waterloo (Calling at Vauxhall and Clapham Junction) take 16 minutes and run every 3 to 5 minutes at peak times and 6 to 8 minutes later in the evening.

Tube:  Wimbledon Station is the last stop on the Wimbledon branch of the District line.  The journey from Earl's Court takes about 19 minutes and trains run approximately every 5 minutes.

Tram:  Wimbledon is at one end of the Croydon Tramlink.  Trams run every 8 to 15 minutes depending on the time of day, and the journey takes 24 minutes from East Croydon.

Walking to the hall from the station takes approximately 8 minutes.

Leave the station, turn right and walk up Wimbledon Hill Road.  After the second set of traffic lights, (at Elys Department Store) take the first left into Mansel Road.  Trinity Church is about 100 yards down Mansel Road on the right-hand side and is next to Wimbledon High School.  The hall we dance in is at the back of the church and is accessed by a path at the left hand side of the building.

By car:

The main A3 passes within approximately 2½ miles of Wimbledon.  

If travelling into London, leave the A3 at the junction signed A298 to Wimbledon.  Continue along the A298 for 0.74 miles to the traffic lights.  At the lights, turn left onto the B289 (signposted Raynes Park).  Turn right passing Raynes Park station then at the traffic lights turn left onto the A238 (signposted Wimbledon, Kingston).  Follow the Wimbledon signs round the Raynes Park one-way system onto Worple Road - the B235.  Continue along Worple Road for approximately 1 mile until you reach a mini-roundabout.  Take the first left into Raymond Road, then the first right into Mansel Road.  Trinity Church is about 250 yards along on the left.

Or:

It travelling out of London, leave the A3 at the Tibbetts Corner junction signposted A219 Wimbledon Merton.  Follow the A219 for 2.37 miles through Wimbledon Village and down Wimbledon Hill.  At the bottom of the hill (by the Alexandra pub) turn right into Worple Road - the B235, (signposted Raynes Park).  After 0.13 miles take the third exit at the mini-roundabout into Raymond Road then the first right into Mansel Road.  Trinity Church is about 250 yards along on the left.

Car Parking is free after 6.30pm.   Be careful not to park in one of the spaces reserved for the holders of resident's permits.  On some evenings when there is an event at Wimbledon High School the area near the church can become crowded with parked cars.
